Housing and Dining: The Taste of LSU
Louisiana is known for its good times and good food. LSU Dining lives up to that tradition with award-winning dining halls and several other restaurant options to serve the university population. The 5 and 459 dining halls, located on each end of campus, offer buffet-style meals accessible for all diets and food preferences and an exceptional dining staff willing to work with you to ensure that all dietary needs are accommodated. Restaurants such as McDonald's, Chik-fil-A, Subway, CC's Coffee Shop and Smoothie King provide students with even more options throughout their day.
Students can use their meal plans at any of these locations at almost any time of day to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a quick snack to make sure they have the fuel they need to focus on their academics.
Housing at LSU
LSU freshmen will live on campus in one of the university's excellent facilities, which are located within walking distance to classes and other events to help provide students with an environment that promotes academic and social success.
All residences come with electricity and water included in your rent, as well as furniture, cable television, Wi-Fi internet access and access to laundry facilities to add convenience that is ideal for students adjusting to their new home.

Dining plans make it easier for LSU students to get meals, snacks and drinks at the university's two dining halls and several other restaurants and shops through meal swipes or Paw Points — and, if you have TigerCASH, even at some restaurants and a grocery store near campus.
Students may recognize restaurants such as McDonald's, Starbucks, Subway, Smoothie King, Panda Express or Chick-fil-A; or they may quickly fall in love with the 5 and 459 dining halls on either end of campus, which offer students a wide variety of options in a buffet-style setting that often includes international dishes.
