Halloween provides variety of fun activities for LSU Global students

LSU Global students from four different countries participate in pumpkin-painting during the Halloween party.

Halloween continued to prove itself among LSU Global students’ favorite holidays in the United States this past week in the program’s second year.

Activities included a trip to The 13th Gate, the third-ranked haunted house in the entire country, and a small party featuring costumes, pumpkin-painting, a Halloween movie, Halloween music and a wide range of seasonal treats.

While academics are a clear priority, extracurricular activities play a major role in the college experience.

Students from all backgrounds not only have fun, but make lifelong friends and learn more about themselves in the process.

And for international students, these interactions also provide opportunities to improve their English and learn more about other cultures.

LSU Global students have enjoyed a wide range of social events during their time in the program from “Signature Student Events” such as the crawfish boil in the spring, football tailgating party in September and, most recently, a trip to The 13th Gate haunted house to even more casual activitues such as playing basketball on campus or painting pumpkins in the office.

Learn more about several of these events — and enjoy photographs and videos of the students’ expierences — throughout the LSU Global blog, including this article on a summer trip to Quarters arcade:
